Adam H. Miller

My Approach

A mentor of mine once gave a speech to a group of students and asked what adjective best described the role of a lawyer. The students shouted fighter, unrelenting, determined, etc. Eventually, she stopped them and said that those were all quality attributes, but the most important quality of an effective lawyer is persuasion.

As your lawyer my primary job is to persuade. I persuade the prosecutor to dismiss or reduce your case, I persuade the judge to suppress evidence, and then if those avenues fail, I persuade the jury to find you not guilty.

I have years of experience prosecuting criminal cases and put that to work to protect you. I take the time to research your situation completely and bring about the most effective opportunities ensuring you get the successful outcome you deserve.

I’m proud that so many of my clients have repeatedly turned to me for counsel and representation. I am determined to work hard to earn our clients loyalty every day. I’m here to help you get on with your life.

Adam's Story

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia, Adam went on to obtain my law degree from Mercer University.

While in law school, Adam Miller was a member of the School’s National Mock Trial Team, as well as the founding member and Vice President of the Mercer Criminal Defense Association. He also took advantage of numerous internship opportunities while in law school, including representing clients under the third-year practice act at the Macon Circuit Public Defender Office.

Upon graduating from law school, Adam took a position clerking for the State Court judges in Macon, Georgia. There, he honed his legal writing skills by drafting orders for two prominent judges covering a wide range of legal issues.

However, with his roots in Atlanta, Adam moved back to his home town once his clerkship was finished and accepted a position at the Cobb County Solicitor-General’s office as an Assistant Solicitor-General. There, Adam prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from traffic infractions to DUIs to violent crimes. He gained valuable trial experience, taking more than a dozen cases to jury trial with high success rates.
